BEADED JEWELRY MAKING CLASSES
Saturday, August 18

The Kanabec History Center is offering two classes on making beaded jewelry, 
Saturday, August 18. Class size is limited to a dozen students.

Both classes are being taught by local artist Dee Kotaska. Call 320-679-1665 
for registration fee and materials fee information.

BASIC BEADING TECHNIQUES - 10 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. In this class you will 
learn about basic beading tools and stringing techniques for making jewelry. 
All participants will make a bracelet and a pair of earrings to take home.

WIRE WRAP TECHNIQUES - 12:30 p.m. - 2:30 p.m. In this class you will learn 
wire wrapping methods used to create unique jewelry. All participants will 
make a bracelet and a pair of earrings to take home.

The Kanabec History Center is located at 805 West Forest Avenue in Mora.

ANTIQUE APPRAISAL DAY
Saturday, September 8
10 a.m. - 4 p.m.

Bring your heirlooms/collectables to be appraised by the experts - call for 
fee information. Appraisals will be ongoing throughout the day. There will 
also be booths with antiques, crafts, flea market items, food and fall 
produce for sale. Come and enjoy a great fall day at the History Center!

FREE LEMONADE CONCERT at the Kanabec History Center
Thursday, August 9

This will be the last concert of the summer at the Center. Come and enjoy 
the lively dancing of the Lumberland Cloggers. Food service is from 5 p.m. - 
7 p.m and the entertainment starts at 7 p.m. The Kanabec History Center is 
located at 805 W. Forest Avenue in Mora, 320-679-1665
