Dear Chamber Members,

The Kanabec Hospital is asking for our assistance with an Emergency
Preparedness Drill specifically tailored to all of us in Kanabec County.
The Chamber Directors and I hope that our members will be proactive in
volunteering one employee (or business owner/self) so that the hospital can
learn the positives and negative attributes to their triage process. They
need an influx of massive amounts of people, just like it would be in
reality. WE would be patients in the screening process, WE would then take
the information back to our places of work to share with the rest of the
people we work with (I am saying WE as I will be taking part in this drill,
just like you). The hospital is looking for our feedback.

Please contact Dianne 320-225-3319 after reading the letter, attached and
Please say "YES" to volunteering for this as it is information for of all of
us.
Many of us are stressed and worried about a pandemic flu epidemic.
You know, to help alleviate the stress, we need to have knowledge of the
process so that we don't fear it. Stress is caused by a fear of the unknown.
Once you know, there is no more stress (or at the least, less of it!)

My best to you ALL!
Call me with any questions. I will be relaying more information of when and
how.
Thank you.
Karen.
