This is what will run in this Thursday's paper:


Kanabec Area Chamber of Commerce Members are doing a Ladies Night Out party on Friday, Dec. 19th for all members of the community as we want everyone to shop locally.
Many chamber member businesses will be open until 8 p.m. that evening with promotional items, special deals, warm drinks and snacks for your enjoyment. 

Start out by picking up your stamp card on Friday at the Union Street Grill. Meet your friends there and begin your Ladies Night Out shopping spree with a special meal. Fill your card with stamps from every business on the list and drop off the card at the last business that you visit. You will be then be entered into a drawing where winners will be chosen to win gifts given by the local merchants. We will phone the winners and their names will be posted in the paper.

Please check back to the community pages next week for the list of chamber members who are signed up for this special event. 

The Kanabec Area Chamber businesses value your patronage and would love for you to come in and visit - there is no purchase necessary to get your stamp. If you have any questions, please call Karen at the chamber - 679-5792.

Dear Chamber Members,

We have a new fun idea and a way to generate some extra business before the holidays -
We would like to do a Ladies Night Out party on Friday, Dec. 19th. Would you be interested? 

This would mean that you would donate a little item, stay open until 8:pm that Friday, offer some enticement - snacks, promotional deals, whatever you wish.

If you are interested, please let Nancy Helmbrecht or me know ~ asap.

It will go into the paper for next week, but the deadline is Monday the 8th at noon. 
We will offer it to the community, but only chamber member businesses will be involved. 
We will list your business as one to shop at.

I will need to have the business list compiled by this Thursday (12/11) so that each business involved will be listed on the card. If you would like to donate an item for the prize drawing, it would be muchly appreciated.
