Christmas Gift & Decor Preview
at the Kanabec History Center

The Kanabec History Center Gift Shop will have a Christmas Gift & Decor Preview Sale on Saturday November 8 from 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Lots of Christmas decorations, home decor & gifts for the holidays. Lots of mark downs and once again pick a pine cone for a on-the-spot-discount or free gift. There will also be lingon berries and Swedish cookies for sale and tasting. Free Coffee and Cookies. A Memoir Writing Crash Course
Nov. 15 (10 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.)

In this course, taught by Angela Foster, award winning writer, you will explore the many different styles of memoir writing presently used. Participants will explore ideas through writing prompts to help discover their own story. Voice, point of view, tense and publication will all be discussed. A good way to get started writing your personal history for generations to come. Bring a bag lunch for a short noon break. There is small fee call 320-679-1665 or stop in at the Kanabec History Center located at 805 West Forest Avenue in Mora. Must pre-register and pre-pay for the workshop.
