[chambernews] "Chamber Business Shop-Hop"

Greetings Everyone!
We are planning a Chamber Shop Hop beginning on Thursday, November 5th, 
going through Saturday, November 7th for our chamber member businesses. 
Most of you are aware of how this works, but to be involved means that 
your business name goes onto a card and as each person comes in to your 
business with the card, they get a stamp (or initial) from each of you. 
A filled card entitles the patron to a prize. You may want to offer 
refreshments and incentives. Now, to get into the shop hop, we are 
asking each business interested to give $20.00 to the chamber, which 
will be turned into $20.00 of chamber cash. The chamber cash will be 
given as the prize - but it will only be good towards businesses that 
are involved in the shop hop (who of course pay the $20.00).
To begin with, the card will be picked up at the start of the shop hop - 
which will be the Women's Health Event at the Grand Event Center. That 
event begins at 4:30 on Thursday. People will be able to drop off their 
filled card at any of your participating businesses - but I will need to 
have you bring them in to me afterwards - or make arrangements with me 
to pick them up from you.
The catch is this:
I need commitment from you by noon on this coming Monday (Oct. 26th) to 
get your name posted in the paper as a participant.
So, please let me know, asap! And spread the word to your neighboring 
chamber member business!
