The Office of the Minnesota Secretary of State will continue to be open 
on a regular basis, including in-person filings, from 8 a.m.  to 4 p.m. 
Monday through Friday, except holidays.

This office was successful in its argument to the court that its 
services are mandated by the Minnesota Constitution and are a right 
guaranteed to all citizens. The court rejected the arguments that this 
office should not be allowed to continue these services during the 
current partial state government shutdown.
