ST. CLOUD, Minn. — Motorists will encounter a road closure and detour on
Highway 107 in Kanabec and Pine counties from Braham to just west of
Brook Park when a resurfacing project begins May 16. The project also
includes shoulder and culvert work.
Culvert work will require a 21-day detour on Highway 107 from Grasstonto
Highway 23. Motorists will follow a signed detour west on Kanabec County
Road 17 to Kanabec County Road 5 and north back to Highway 23. A copy of

Hardrives, Inc. of Rogers, Minn., is the prime contractor for the $3.6
million project that will improve mobility, safety and access. Westwood
Professional Services of Brainerd, Minn., will provide project contract
administration and oversight.
The project is scheduled to be completed by late July, weather permitting.
During construction and road maintenance work, Mn/DOT urges drivers to:

information about traffic and road conditions.
•Stay alert; expect the unexpected.
•Never enter a road that has been blocked with barriers or cones.
•Plan ahead and expect delays, especially during peak travel times.
