Dear Members,

I just met with Karla Filibeck who's the Health Organizer and
Coordinator at the Kanabec County Public Health SACK division. She
shared with me many interesting and very important actions being taken
by the SACK organization this morning. I would like to be able to share
this information with you as she would like to get our local businesses
involved - especially businesses who employ teens and young adults. At
some point in the near future, I hope that you meet her, she's a young,
energetic, resourceful and thoughtful woman who stands ready to make a
difference in our community!

Secondly, within the last week, $2200.00 in chamber cash has gone out
into the community. This is so awesome for our local chamber member
businesses! If you have any questions about how this is utilized, please
let me know. To answer this briefly, chamber cash can only be spent at
chamber member businesses. When your businesses receive it, you just
stamp the back as you would any check and send it through your bank. It
is Mikkr encoded so it routes through to our account at Kanabec State
Bank where your business will be paid just as a regular check would. It
would be appreciated if the spender would sign the front in the 2 places
when they redeem it - like a travelers check.

Good?

Thank you ~
Karen.
