Hi Karen,

My name is Karla Filibeck, and I am a new Health Educator at Kanabec 
County. Kanabec County Public Health received a grant to prevent 
underage drinking and reduce binge drinking among 6-12^th graders and 
young adults between the ages of 18-25. There are many facets to this 
grant, and I would love to meet you, learn about your work and share 
more about mine sometime.

Our immediate need is to recruit a total of 6-12 Kanabec County 
residents between the ages of 18-25 to participate in a focus group next 
week. The focus group will be facilitated by the MN Institute of Public 
Health on Thursday, March 8^th from 6-7pm at our office. Because a Young 
Adult Alcohol Survey will be sent out this spring, participants will be 
asked to share their opinion on how to advertise this survey and what 
type of incentives to offer to get young people to fill out the survey 
and send it back. We will provide dinner, a $15 Subway gift card and 
another incentive to thank participants for their time!

If you know anyone who may be interested, please share the attached 
flyer with them directly. My coworkers also mentioned that perhaps your 
member businesses would have employees between the ages of 18-25. If you 
could send this flyer out to them, that would be fabulous!
