UNDERSTANDING THE DIGITAL CAMERA: Wed. Nov. 28, 7 to 9:30 PM Call

*Cameras have advanced greatly since the days of simply “pointing and 
shooting.” Even the smallest camera has a lot more capability than most 
photographers are aware of. In this workshop, we will discuss how a 
camera works, the difference between SLR and point and shoot cameras and 
film and digital cameras. We will spend time negotiating the menus and 
options of digital cameras. Open to all levels. Since each camera has a 
different program, it is *
*ABSOLUTELY ESSENTIAL THAT EACH PERSON BRING THEIR CAMERA (BATTERY 
CHARGED) AND MANUAL TO THE CLASS. PERK: We’ll also briefly discuss 
cameras and accessories that make great Christmas presents. Minimum

TAKING BETTER PEOPLE, HOLIDAY AND WINTER PHOTOGRAPHS: Wed. Dec. 5, 7 to 
9 PM Call 320-679-1665 for fee information.
*The holidays are approaching and we’ll be taking pictures of our 
friends and relatives. Holiday lights, snow, winter and low light create 
situations that can complicate these photos. But at the same time can 
also make dramatic photos . We’ll discuss these situations and some 
techniques for creating more dramatic/artistic photographs. BRING YOUR 
CAMERA BATTERY CHARGED) AND MANUAL TO THE CLASS. Minimum class: 3
