[chambernews] A Reminder of the Presentation of Broadband Feasibility Study Scheduled for Thursday, October 25 at 7:00 pm

In May 2012, the Kanabec Broadband Initiative (KBI) selected U-reka 
Broadband Ventures as the consulting company to complete a comprehensive 
broadband network feasibility study covering all of Kanabec County. The 
study has been completed and results are being released in a series of 
public and stakeholder meetings during the month of October.  A special 
community meeting will be held on *Thursday, October 25 at 7:00 pm at* 
*the Eastwood Life Enrichment Center* *located at 160 Valhalla Circle 
(Mora). *The community meeting will include a presentation of findings 
and recommendations by U-reka Broadband Ventures, a Q & A session with 
U-reka and members of KBI, and a discussion about our next steps. It 
will be important to hear from Kanabec County residents and businesses 
as decisions are made about where to go from here! The October 25 
meeting is open to everyone and I encourage you to attend if possible.
Thank you to everyone who participated in meetings, surveys, roundtables 
and interviews during the study!
