Good Day.

The Next A.M. *Coffee Meeting* will be at the Grand Harmony Spa at the 
Grand Casino Hinckley (postcard attached) on September 18.  We can 
carpool - I can hold 3-4 folks. If you are planning to attend and would 
like some passengers with you - we can arrange a caravan! There are some 
great perks to this a.m. meeting so be sure to take a look at the 
information on the card. Kim Anderson (Area Relations at the Casino) has 
made it VERY ENTICING for us to attend this morning!
Please note the directions Kim has given us to arrive at the closest 
entrance:
*Entering the spa. I think the easiest way is to park on the South side 
of the casino over by the hotel and go in that door. Walk past the 
beauty parlor and the coffee shop and take a right and then a quick left 
to the spa area.*
I would love to have an rsvp of who will be attending - if you wouldn't 
mind. Kim would rest easier if she had knowledge of a relative number.

Secondly, there is a *Political Forum* coming up in Ogilvie.
The candidate forum will be at Ogilvie High School on Thursday 9/13/2012 
@ 6:30 pm. Invited and confirmed are Ben Wiener & Tim Faust (House 11B), 
Sondra Erickson & Joe Walsh (House 15A) and Dave Brown & Sally Knox 
(Senate 15A), Richard Nolan & a representative of Chip Cravaak (US 8th). 
Bill Saumer & Tony Lourey (Senate 8) will also be in attendance. 
Sponsored by the 7 County Senior Federation, Lakes & Pines Community 
Action Council & the Ogilvie School District. Please come out to support 
these great candidates.

The Chamber is making plans for a Candidate Forum in October. Should be 
lots of local issues to discuss with our local candidates!! More to come 
on this very soon...
