Good Morning Chamber Members ~

As you may know, not only do we have the Kanabec Broadband Initiative 
efforts underway, but there is also a regional group that has been 
meeting and will be holding a broadband "summit" on February 28th. There 
are a number of good speakers lined up that will help those attending 
understand what is being done about broadband access by organizations 
like Blandin, as well as state government and service providers. 
Attendees will also help shape the next steps that may be taken on a 
regional basis to improve broadband access for the rural areas.

I encourage any of you to attend and provide your perspective. Attached 
is the agenda which also has registration information. The Deadline to 
register is Feb. 14 as we need to give the Grand Casino a head count.
The cost is $10.00 but is refunded when you attend the meeting.
