FYI from the History Center ~

Picture Pillow Class Sat. Oct. 5, 10 AM to 3 PM
at the Kanabec History Center
The fee is $25. Class size is 6 to 10 people.
MUST PRE-REGISTER & PRE-PAY

You will make a pillow showing a photograph of your choice. It could be 
a special occasion, an old family photo, a favorite pet, etc. Bring your 
photo with you to class. Instructor Barb Wazelle will supply the 
material used to transfer your photo.

• You should have your photo enlarged to 8”x10” (The newspaper office 
will do this for a nominal fee.)

• Bring old lace, buttons and men’s ties (the old wide ones are best) to 
embellish your pillow. (Ties will be available at the History Center for 
25¢ each.)

• You will need to bring a sewing machine, thread, scissors & pins.

• If you want to use your own fabric, bring it with you.
The instructor will also have fabric and the fiber fill to stuff the 
pillow, or you can bring a pillow form.
• *BRING A BAG LUNCH.*

Barb has been sewing for many years and became a quilter when she retired.
She has been involved with many crafts, has taught quilting, doll making 
etc.
