*Highway 65 resurfacing south of Mora begins Aug. 4*

**

ST. CLOUD, Minn. – Motorists travelling Highway 65 south of Mora will 
encounter lane closures, flaggers, pilot cars and possible delays as 
crews resurface and improve nearly seven miles of the road beginning 
Monday, Aug. 4.

The lane closures will occur on segments of Highway 65 between and the 
Ann River and County Road 11 during daytime hours through Aug. 29.

Flaggers will allow one-way alternating traffic through the daily work 
zone. Drivers must obey the flagger, be prepared to stop and follow the 
pilot car through each daily work zone. Motorists entering the daily 
work zone from driveways or roads that intersect Highway 65 must wait 
for the pilot car to pass, then follow it through the daily work zone.

The closures are needed as crews resurface and improve Highway 65 south 
of Mora, add or extend turn lanes and make other improvements.

When crews are finished resurfacing Highway 65 south of Mora, lane 
closures and resurfacing on Highway 23 between Mora and Ogilvie will 
begin. More information on those closures and related work will be 
issued as details become available.

When complete, the projects will provide a smoother ride, improve safety 
and preserve an efficient and effective transportation system for local 
and interregional travelers.
