[chambernews] Murder Mystery Dinner Theatre and Vasaloppet

Hello Everyone.

I have a couple of things to talk with you about, so instead of sending 
out numerous emails, I'll just put them into one.

Okay, you all know about our Murder Mystery by now, A Party to Die For. 
And you know that this is a fundraiser for the Kanabec Area Chamber 
Foundation (making your donations tax deductible). /AND /as in the past, 
we are asking for your generous donations! You will be receiving a call 
from any of the Chamber Board Members asking you for your donations. 
Though we take much enjoyment from participating in and all that the 
play entails, there is a purpose for it and it is to raise funds for our 
foundation.

As the organization grows and continues being established, we have a 
focus as our mission statement addresses:

Our Mission: The Mission of the Kanabec Area Chamber Foundation is to 
support the Mora Area Chamber of Commerce as it works for local economic 
and business development, and supports civic, educational and other 
cultural initiatives.

Our Values:Growth, Prosperity, Community & Business Development

Our Vision:Providing resources and support of the Mora Area Chamber of 
Commerce for businesssuccess, growth and visibility.


The Murder Mystery event begins at 5:pm on Feb. 22nd at Bowe's. It's a 
Halloween Costume Party with an underlying theme of the history and 
removal of Mora's haunted feed mill.
We hope that you will not only please give generously - you will also 
attend! Bring family, friends, co-workers. Send employees for a night on 
the town! /It WILL be an event that is talked about for a remarkably 
long time ~/

/I did say that I had a couple of items to address. Here's number 2:/

If any of you have an idea for a business special that you would like to 
present during the Vasaloppet weekend (Feb. 6th - 9th), and you'd like 
to have a coupon or promotion that would go into the Vasaloppet Racer's 
Packet, will you please let me know? This is a great opportunity to get 
people into your businesses. I would like to ask that you let me know 
your idea first, we can discuss your best options to make this as easy 
as possible for the bag stuffers in the Vasaloppet HQ. I'm trying to get 
a feel for what you may like and how many of you are interested!
