Greetings,

A Place for You is pleased to announced their first annual Fall 
Fundraising Gala on October 24, 2014, at the Hinckley Grand Casino 
Ballroom.  A Place for You is a Homeless Shelter in Pine City, 
Minnesota, that serves Pine, Kanabec, Isanti, Chisago, and Mille Lacs 
counties.  As you know non-profit organizations such as ours rely on 
donations to provide services that are greatly needed by our community. 
I am writing to request your help in getting the word out about our event.


This gala event will be attended by over 200 members of the five county 
area and we are depending on the generous support of our friends in the 
business community to supply us with exciting silent auction items.  
This is a wonderful opportunity to help A Place for You help others.  It 
is a win-win situation when local business members combine their 
resources with others to support non-profit organizations that serve 
others who are in need of assistance.


A Place for You’s ability to continue to operate is due in large part to 
the generous support of individual donors who believe in our mission, as 
well as gifts from businesses and corporations.   A Place for You has 
provided shelter to 72 clients since opening its doors a little over a 
year ago.  As you can see from the enclosed annual report, A Place for 
You is dependent upon the generosity of others like you.


I am attaching a publicity image, a copy of the annual report and a 
brochure from A Place for You. Please share this information with local 
businesses, post on your web page, your Facebook page and other places 
that you believe would be helpful.


We have an ongoing raffle for three big-ticket prizes. We would be happy 
to get raffle tickets to your offices if you believe you would be able 
to sell some. The prizes are as follows: 1) Ten Bird Hunt for Four at 
Wings North, Pine City or Wild Wings of Oneka, 2) Hinckley Grand Casino 
Getaway for Two, Overnight Stay, Dinner and $200 Grand Harmony Spa 
Certificate, and 3) 42" LED Flat Screen TV. Winners need not be present 
to win.

Individual tickets are $75 per person, $800 for a full table of 8 with 
advertising and sponsorship opportunities or $400 for a half table with 
advertising and sponsorship opportunities as well.
