Please read this information from Deb and Mike Hallin ~

Along with Small Business Saturday on November 29th, the Crystal is
hosting an "Ugly Christmas Sweater Fun Run" that same Saturday.
Starts at 11:00. Start place TBA closer to the run. 5K...run, walk,
wagons, strollers or sleds. Register at the Crystal.

$20 registration fee if paid before 11/15
$25 registration fee if paid 11/16-11/29

ALL proceeds will go to the local food Shelf and Toys for Tots. These
are two very worthy organizations, especially this time of the year.

We will be giving out registration packets and welcome donations to put
in them to advertise all businesses. All entries will receive a
"coupon" for a free hot choc or glass of beer (ID required). at the
Crystal after the run. We will be having Harry Kent play Christmas
music from 2-4 pm. We are also having prizes for the ugliest sweater as
well as ticket drawings for mittens at 4:00. (5 children's and 20
adults that provide one hand that has a beverage holder (hand made by a
Mora resident who is selling them to me at a discounted price for the
event).

Coupons, prizes or anything is welcome. (Would love to find a donator
to give those hand and foot warmers that can be placed in mittens and
shoes/boots). Any volunteers for the 5k route will be welcomed too. We
need to set up cones and direct traffic as needed. Mike will use his
side by side to do plowing if needed.

We want this to be a day to kick off the Holiday, as there are only 3
weekends before Christmas after this event. the Crystal is hosting an

We are looking for other businesses who would be willing to make a
monetary donation to purchase Tshirts for the first 50 registrations.
The front would be about the Fun Run and the back would have your
business name as a sponsor of the event. We could purchase t shirts
from the entry fee money, but we would like to try to donate as much as
we can back into the community (Toys for Tots and the a Food Shelf).

Thank you all for considering this. It's less than 6 weeks away!

Thanks,
Deb & Mike Hallin
