  Support Locally Grown Food!

Join us Monday April 27th as Debbie Morrison describes what it is like 
to grow organic food in Kanabec County.

Debbie Morrison grew up in the Twin Cities but always loved the 
outdoors.  In 1997 she and her husband Jim Morrison brought some land in 
Kanabec County, then decided to build a home and move to the area in 
2000, and Sapsucker Farms was born.  After spending 30 years as a 
marketing executive in 2012 Debbie decided to quit the corporate world 
to manage the farm full time.  On the farm, Jim and Debbie produce maple 
syrup, have honeybees, garden produce that is sold via a CSA and at the 
Mora Farmers Market, egg-laying hens, apple trees and now operate a 
farm-winery making Yellow Belly hard apple cider.
