/Hey Everyone, This is THE SCOOP from Home Town Hummus/
*Hummus in the News*
I read a great article about Hummus this week from "Myrtle Beach Online" 
if you ignore the endorsements for big-Ag hummus companies, you'll learn 
some cool facts about Hummus.  For example, do you know why it's called 
"Hummus"?  Check out the article to find out HERE

Another interesting fact is that most American consumers still don't 
know what hummus is!  Can you believe that?!

*Home Town Hummus Returns*
Our family had a great trip up to a resort near Park Rapids and my son 
Aksel and I had an amazing trip to Camp Nathanael

in Hinkley for a Father-Son Bible camp.  If you're a dad and you have a 
son, I can't recommend this camp highly enough.
All that said, it was refreshing to take a week off from hummus, but I'M 
BACK - you can pick up hummus at Bread n Honey Pantry today as usual.

*Local "Like" *
Today's endorsement or "Local Like" is the Mora Aquatic Center (AKA 
Swimming Pool.) I am so thankful to our little town for having such an 
amazing pool available for families like ours.  Just wanted to send out 
a public THANK YOU to everyone who plays a part in the operation of the 
Mora pool. This town wouldn't be the same without you.
** Interesting Note: did you know that the #1 way to support the local 
pool is to sign someone up for swim lessons.  In talking with the 
manager, he said that Swim lessons are the biggest area that determines 
the financial health of the pool.  Interesting eh?
