[chambernews] updating website and email and THANK YOU!

I hope that you all had a nice 4th and holiday. The Twins game was fun 
yesterday, even though we lost.

First, I wanted to say "Thank you" for taking such care with the Chamber 
Cash. I just got my June bank statement and the money is nicely signed 
and all is good. I love seeing this money being spread among st all of 
the chamber members. I believe that people really like spending it too. 
Remember that it works the same as cash or a check. You can give 
cash/change back to your patron and you will get the full amount of the 
chamber cash into your account.

Secondly, we are updating the Chamber's website where it becomes much 
more user friendly for me. It takes a bit of time to get everything 
transferred over, plus I am trying to do some fancifying - with slides, 
a calendar, daily postings and such. With that, we are also transferring 
the Chamber's email - not that it will change for you - but all my 
groupings will be ungrouped for a while.  Almost all of my contacts are 
not in my new address book. Please bear with me. It's kind of scary - 
but I can fall back on my Thunderbird if I have to - as I am right now. 
Though I'm not supposed to...

Staying in touch with you is important to me. Soon I will be posting 
blogs as a more organized way for you to get information from the 
Chamber - AND also for me to share your information to the rest of the 
Chamber members.

Finally, "Thank You" all for what you do for the Chamber and also for 
the entire community - from regularly donating to 
charities/organizations to shopping locally - and for always giving a 
friendly smile to all who you encounter.
