I am so pleased with the popularity of Chamber Cash.  It's handy, keeps 
money local, and it's a great reward to receive!
I would like to ask each of you who use it - whether you receive it from 
a patron or you spend it - PLEASE BE SURE THAT THE SPENDER SIGNS IT 
TWICE ON THE FRONT! Sorry, don't mean to yell - but when the bank 
receives it, sometimes it's not signed at all - and the chamber cash 
policy is for the receiver to sign it when they get it, and sign it when 
they spend it. 2 signatures of the same name. Like Travelers Checks. 
ALSO, businesses who accept chamber cash must STAMP THE BACK - just like 
a check. Please let your employees know all of this. I don't mean to be 
a pain in the neck, but we are having some issues with the policies not 
being adhered to. Some checks are not even stamped - I keep track of 
where all of our chamber cash gets purchased, by whom, where it's spent 
and when, it's important for us (and you) to know this.
So please, at your next weekly/monthly meeting with your employees, 
please be sure that they understand this. It's a great perk of 
membership - chamber cash is only to be spent at chamber member 
businesses - if we don't keep track, we could lose this control.
