Community Kick Off meeting at the Eastwood Senior Living
Community Center<br>
160 Valhalla Circle in Mora <br>
and we feel that it is so very important that you attend.</font></p>

helvetica, sans-serif">We are so fortunate that
Kanabec County was chosen as one of nine communities
by the Blandin Foundation to be a Blandin Broadband
Community. </font><font face="arial, helvetica,
sans-serif">This is a two year program designed
to provide<br>
planning and organizing support to rural Minnesota
communities that demonstrate readiness and resources
to either bring robust broadband adoption to
communities without it, or assist already connected
communities to make the best use of information and
services broadband can deliver. <br>
<br>
Communities and organizations within the community are
eligible to apply for up to a total of $100,000
in grant funds for projects that fit program
criteria over the next year.<br>
</font><font face="arial, helvetica, sans-serif">This
meeting will be an opportunity for community leaders
and residents to learn about the program, help assess
our community's strengths and gaps as it pertains to
broadband, <br>
and begin to identify projects that may be eligible
for financial support through the program. We hope to
stimulate ideas for projects as well as discuss
potential projects already in the formulation stage.</font><font
face="arial, helvetica, sans-serif"><br>

We are asking for a one-time commitment from you to
attend this meeting.<br>
You are certainly welcome to stay active in the
project and be more involved, but this meeting itself
is a one-time only endeavor<br>
that we really hope that you will attend.<br>
