Dear Chamber Members,

As you most likely know, we at the Kanabec Broadband Initiative
have been making strides towards bringing High Speed Broadband
Internet to each and everyone in Kanabec County. It's not been
easy. But we are all optimistic. We have the County working
towards the end result now as well. We all see a light at the
end of the tunnel.
I have put together a letter - yes it's in need of your changes
- but if you could read it over, and if you're so inclined,
please make it something that comes from how you feel. It would
be especially great if you could explain how you feel
our community would be if we were NOT to have broadband here.
How do you feel we'd weather the future? What would happen to
us? What would happen to your business? What if the internet
went away all together? What difference has it made for you and
your business?
This is our opportunity to bring broadband to our county -- and
your words would offer so much towards its becoming a
reality.

If there are businesses that you know of, outside of our chamber
community, out in the more rural areas of the county - would you
please pass this message and letter onto them so that they could
please chime in?
We need as many heartfelt letters as we can get from each and
every one of you, to send on towards receiving a federal grant
making our Kanabec County financially able to bring Broadband
Fiber to each of us - all over the county.
The letter is attached. In Word - for you to manipulate into
whatever you wish - or just start over in your own words if you
want to!
Please send your letters back to me as soon as possible because
of course, as always, the deadline for the grant is drawing
near...
Thank you.
Karen.
