Morgan,
privately
owned
bookstore in
Cambridge to
be the program

Pam suggested
we bring in
books we are
willing to
part with; we
could sell for
25 to 50 cents
each to
members and
put the money
in the
operating
funds account.<br>
March meeting
is <strong>Girlfriend’s
Evening Ou</strong>t.
Deb Lawrence
is not sure if
she will be in
town for the
event, she
will let Pam
Mattson know.<br>
Pam Mattson
thought we had
only enough
money for one
scholarship
this year, and
wondered if we
should use
Girl’s Night
Out as a
scholarship
fundraiser
instead of
funding a
non-profit.<br>
In the past we
had given
money to The
Refuge; that
organization
is now a part
of Family
Pathways; they
are in a
better place
financially
than they were
last year.<br>
The issue is
tabled until
January when
we have more
information.<br>

report</strong>

The Mora Area
Chamber of
Commerce
contacted us
about renting
a <strong>booth
for the
Chamber Exp</strong>o.
The decision
was tabled

January.
Suggestions
included
having a
raffle for
scholarship.
Evette Wissler

donate a piece
of jewelry,
Linda Laitala
said she would
donate some
leather pad
folios.<br>
Next, the
question was
asked about
raffle laws
and would we
have to be
licensed or is
the Expo
covered by the
Chamber. Pam
said Karen
Amundson might
know if it’s
possible to
have a
scholarship
raffle at the
event.<br>
