<div dir="ltr">Just a reminder to those who enjoy fishing and
winter fun.

<div>The<b> 11th. annual Fish Lake Association Ice fishing
contest </b>will be held on Fish Lake here in Kanabec
County on Saturday February 21st. Registration will begin at
11:30 am with the tournament running noon to 2pm.</div>
<div>The holes will be predrilled and cost $5 per hole.</div>
<div>There are a lot of raffle prizes and 1st, 2nd, and 3rd
place cash prizes awarded to the largest fish. After the
contest there will be a drawing for a high power air rifle at
Fish Lake resort along with a meat raffle. The cost of these
tickets are $5. </div>

<div>Also, The<b> 8th Annual Jolly Jigging Jamboree</b> is being
held up on Knife Lake in Kanabec County.</div>
<div>This contest runs from 1pm to 4 pm. There are numerous
raffle prizes including 3 firearms beginning at 3pm. There
will be cash prizes awarded to the 4 largest fish. </div>

<div>All proceeds for both fishing events are used for the
betterment of Kanabec County projects and it's citizens. Both
should be high on your priority list for the weekends
activities.</div>
<div>The volunteers who run these events do it for free and out
of the goodness in their hearts. </div>

<div>If you plan things correctly you can make it to both and
make some donations too both events and possibly come home
with some nice prizes.</div>

<div>Both events will go no matter the weather. Let's show
those snowbirds that fun can be had in cold weather.</div>

<div>Also, I have had a standing challenge for many years that
there is no ice auger that can out drill mine. I will begin
drilling holes on Fish lake at 10am on Saturday. I double dog
dare anyone to try to drill a hole faster than I can........</div>
