Kanabec History Center Garden Tour
This Saturday July 28, 2007
Tickets Still Available

There are still tickets available for The Kanabec History Center Tour of
Gardens and Brunch this Saturday July 28. The day begins with brunch serving
9 to 11 am. at the History Center. The gardens open at 10 am. This is a self
guided tour, maps and information packets are given out at the brunch. Until
that time the participating gardens are top secret. We can tell you that
there are five gardens on this year’s tour. All of the gardens are unique
and you will see a lot of interesting features. Every year there are new
gardens and there are new artists participating in the "Arts in the Gardens"
part of the tour. If you would like a sneak peak at the their work, samples
are on display now in our gallery.

Besides the brunch and the tour, activities for the day include a silent
auction of several garden related items, such as 5 yards of black dirt,
lilac tree, catalpa tree, planters and floral baskets. You can phone in to
change your bids throughout the day. The auction ends at 4 pm. There will be
art demonstrations and art for sale in the gardens. And you are invited to
tour the History Center

Tickets are available at the Kanabec History Center located at 805 West
Forest Avenue in Mora. You can call 320-679-1665 for ticket information.
