Dear Dawn,
A primary goal of CFED’s entrepreneurship work is to improve the degree
to which business ownership can build households’ assets and enhance the
financial security of low- and moderate-income (LMI) individuals and
families. To that end, we’re conducting research to better understand
businesses’ financial strengths and vulnerabilities in order to examine
what role CFED could play in addressing potential market and policy
barriers to entrepreneurial growth. The first step in this process is
disseminating an online survey, and *we need your help*.
We’re looking for small business owners to take this 5-minute Enterprise
Needs Survey

devices, between now and August 26. *Business owners who take the survey
will be entered in a drawing to win a $100 MasterCard rewards card*,
which can be used for online purchases wherever MasterCard is
accepted.**Also, *business owners who take the survey and refer at least
ten friends* *will automatically receive a $50 MasterCard rewards card.
*(Note: in order to receive the incentive, referrals must complete the
survey and indicate their referral source.)

this study will contribute to the existing body of knowledge about the
financial capability of the self-employed and the types of financial
products, services and policies that can improve microbusiness owners’
success.
