Hi everyone,

In follow-up to the June 26^th email announcing a new MJSP funding for 
businesses, the _1^st application deadline is looming_.

The Job Training Incentive Pilot Program (JTPP) was approved in March 
2014 by the Minnesota Job Skills Partnership (MJSP) board to address an 
area of employment need for new or expanding businesses.  Tom Norman and 
Kevin McKinnon worked with**Paul Moe and the MJSP Board to develop this 
program and funding stream If you have not yet spoken with your 
businesses about this great opportunity it is time*.  The first 
application deadline for this funding is August 15^th .*

*Job Training Incentive Pilot Program (JTPP)  provides funding for 
employment needs to MN businesses!*

*                                    2^nd application deadline --- 
September 30^th *

*                                   3^rd application deadline --- 
November 14th*

The program will enable DEED to respond to *immediate training requests* 
that are related to economic development efforts being coordinated by 
DEED and will complement MJSP programs.

The Job Training Incentive Pilot Program (JTPP) provides grants of up to 
$50,000 to new or expanding businesses for the purpose of training of 
new workers as quickly and efficiently as possible.  The program is 
available to *businesses that have less than 150 full-time employees and 
are increasing their Minnesota workforce by at least ten percent, with a 
minimum of five new jobs.*

Attached are the program guidelines, business requirements, timelines 
and application forms. Please contact Jodie Greising or myself with any
