Hello friends
The 2014 CSA season is here. Many of you have expressed interest in our
CSA, or may know someone who is interested, so please see the attached
information for details. For your convenience, this year you can now
reserve your CSA with a $25 deposit via our online store
<https://www.sapsuckerfarms.com/buy-now/shop> with the remaining balance
due by May 1st.
You can also take a look at what the CSA members received last year. All
20 weeks of are chronicled on our website
<https://www.sapsuckerfarms.com/category/2013-csa>, complete with
pictures of the produce they received and the weekly farm newsletter.
Here are a few more new things this year
? *New pick-up location at the Good Earth Co-op in St. Cloud* - this is
in addition to the office deliveries that have already been arranged.
So, for you St. Cloud folks, if you have friends that want to join but
they are not already in on the office delivery route, this options is
now available too.
? *Garlic* and garlic scapes are added to the CSA, one of my personal
favorite food groups
? *Fennel* is new this year too, a nice way to freshen up your breath
after munching on garlic? see, I?m thinking of these things...
?* Egg share *option will be available for an additional cost. Nothing
better than farm fresh, free-range eggs. More info coming on this soon.
Meanwhile, the maple syrup season is here! We will start putting out the
1,000 taps this coming weekend. The season lasts about 4 weeks, so let
me know if you?re interested in coming out to help with collecting sap
and making maple syrup with us this year. It?s lots of fun, and all
helpers go home with freshly-made maple syrup.
?and? seeds are sprouting in the greenhouse?. so far the onions, leeks,
shallots, and peppers are popping up, and each day, more and more
seedlings are filling up the greenhouse. Spring is here folks!
Cheers,
Debbie
