[chambernews] Small Business Saturday coming up on November 29th!

Good Afternoon!

American Express has sent us 3 big boxes of great items to help promote 
Small Business Saturday. Please let me know if you're interested in 
participating and we can get you your loot!

As you can see in the picture below, Jack is holding items from the boxes:
Balloons, pet bandanas, pins, pens, stickers, floor mats, signs, cloth 
shopping bags, and we have 3 very large banners to hang outside (folded 
and draped over the chair).

The chamber would like to offer, for incentive for shoppers on November 
29th, a $250 prize of chamber cash. Everyone who shops on that Saturday 
can drop off their receipt of a $50.00 or more purchase to be entered 
into the drawing.

We'd also like to place an ad in the paper to alert the community to 
this shopping event and who is participating (we would ask that each 
participant help pay for this ad).
As you know, the Crystal is having their Ugly Sweater contest, 5K run 
and other great fun that day. We are strongly considering doing the 
Christmas tree lighting ceremony that evening with Santa & caroling.

What special things would you like to do that we can share with the 
community and also with American Express? They will help us spread the word.

Please let me know.
Once I know who of you would like to be involved, we'll divvie up the 
items and get them to you.
Please let me know by November 7th. I will need to know of your special 
plans for the day then too.
