Kanabec County law enforcement braces itself for the inevitable spread

As heroin use spreads across the state, it has been slow to show itself

MATI - Kick Butts Day

On Wednesday, March 16, the Mora Above the Influence group celebrated 
Kick Butt's Day and raised awareness of the importance of staying 
tobacco free.  The group of students created informational posters above 
the impact of tobacco, as well as shared their message with all  seventh 
grade students by going into classrooms and facilitating activities.

Back to School Shop with a Cop

If you are doing Spring cleaning and clearing out your closets, please 
donate your gently used items to the Kanabec County Sheriff's fundraiser 
for /Back to School Shop With a Cop!/ Donated items can be dropped off 
at the Jail - 100 South Vine Street until May 6th between the hours of 
8:30 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. Please contact Erica Bliss at (320) 679-6444. The 
event will take place on May 7th from 8 a.m. until 4:00 p.m.
