WCCO-TV and WCCO Radio are hitting the road to visit the best winter 
spots in cabin country.

Minneapolis/St. Paul - February 9, 2016–WCCO-TV’s Amelia Santaniello and 
Mark Rosen along with NewsRadio, 830 WCCO’s Dave Lee will make a stop in 
Mora, Minn. on Thursday, February 11 and Friday, February 12 as part of 
their annual “Goin’ to the (Frozen) Lake” series.

Throughout the day on Thursday and Friday, the WCCO-TV cameras will roll 
as Amelia and Mark visit several area establishments and participate in 
local traditions. In addition to their activities throughout the day, 
Amelia and Mark will report live from Mora during the 5, 6 and 10pm 
newscasts. The public is invited to join them at:

Mora Lake (Vasaloppet) – Thursday; 5pm and 6pm newscasts

Crystal Bar & Grill – Thursday; 10pm newscast

Mora Lake (Vasaloppet) – Friday; 5pm and 6pm newscasts

“I had the chance to visit Mora many years ago and enjoyed it. I’m 
looking forward to visiting in the winter!,” said Santaniello. “Several 
residents have sent emails about places to go which I love.”

Once again joining the winter series is 830 WCCO Radio. Dave Lee will 
broadcast Friday, February 12 from 6am to 9am live from the Vasaloppet

Every Thursday and Friday in February, the WCCO team will visit some of 
the best winter spots in Minnesota.  This is the fourth year that 
WCCO-TV has done “Goin’ to the (Frozen) Lake”, a winter version of the 
“Goin’ to the Lake” summer series.

Don’t forget to tune into WCCO, channel four, at 5, 6 and 10pm to watch 
Amelia and Mark’s adventures in Mora and tune into NewsRadio, 830 WCCO 
(AM) from 6am-9am on Friday for the Dave Lee show.
